## Lenlok Leichhardt Sliding Screen Door Lock – NEW for 2026
Lenlok has released its own **Sliding Screen Door Lock** for 2026, designed as a retrofit option for common sliding security screen door locks. But how does it compare with the well-known **Whitco Leichhardt** and the **Lockton** alternative?

In this video, I put all three locks side by side:

* **Lockton Sliding Screen Door Lock**
I’ll go over the differences in **design, build quality, operation, fitting, cylinders, locking functions and overall feel**.
The new Lenlok has some interesting features, including self-latching, key deadlocking, an internal snib, compatibility with common screen-door cylinders and an optional 3-point locking kit. Lenlok also states that the lock has been tested in-house to the requirements of **AS 4145.2**, including extensive cycle, strength and salt-spray testing.
The Whitco Leichhardt has been around for years and is a proven design, offering a parrot-beak deadlock, self-latching operation and optional 2- and 3-point locking.
But the big question is:
**Is the new Lenlok actually any good?**
More importantly, **is it better than the Whitco Leichhardt or Lockton, and which one would I choose as a locksmith?**
