After 4 hours of modifications to get the stupid claw to function ITS DONE! This is my first hydraulic arm I've built... or for that matter any arm or creation that used the method of hydraulics/pneumatics. The hydraulics are made from seringes and latex tubing which I find is more powerfull than lego, isn't too hard to put on. And seeing that lego pumps retail for about 11$ a pump, and the seringes 10 cents per, I went with the seringes. If you do get seringes... I find that latex tubing works the best with it (overall) because its easy to find pretty simple to put on and the pipes wont break as often as using other pipes.
The arm is based of the arm of a excavator (which I'm hoping to turn it into).
**UPDATE**
I finally got a glue gun so that really helped me secure everything, and it can now also rotate 360 degrees clockwise and counter clockwise It is powered by the motor I got from the gear box set which I explained in another video. And Is totally functional and operational at a distance.
