Justice Minister Nigel Feetham is considering legislation to strengthen and formalise the arrangements for notifying victims about developments in their cases.

The new legislation would strengthen the arrangements already being developed and ensure that victim notification is consistent, reliable and properly embedded in the criminal justice system.
