There is a clear lack of Kirby in my repertoire and this had to be solved. When this game came out, I actually played it exactly once at a friend's house! We fell asleep to playing City Trials, so I heard this song at least 100 times after getting my fix of the exciting battle royale multiplayer mode! It's got all of the marching nods possible without totally copying Sousa, but there's a big dash of melodic bouncy Kirby score in there too!
When @pandorasbread mentioned he'd be in town for PAX West this year, I knew it would be a great chance to crossover after knowing each other for ages! With the hopes of nailing an older track we tackled LAM with both progressive rock/metal flavor and some modern metalcore as well, giving each of us a chance to write out some fun riffs and co-arrange this track to suit both of us! Collaborations on this level, even haphazardly recording and filming in a day, are some of my favorites and the rarest I get to do so I'm super thrilled we got to shred it up on a Gamecube classic! Check his work out, he's got some excellent work and jaw-dropping projects on the horizon!
