In a shocking turn of events, I decided to quickly cover a song I've meant to cover for ages - Skyloft, the first area from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword! While this game came out literally the year I began my #VGM journey, I never had the chance to play it! My Wii broke around that time and I had been prepping to go to University.. and somehow none of my friends had a copy for ages, so I only got to try out the first hour in 2016! The game's story and romance and adventure were super attractive to me, and having seen some covers of the various themes I was definitely curious how it would go! I arranged it with a mixture of modern instrumental-prog influences and of course U2's "With or Without You" which was painfully similar in its opening and rhythm section!

Videowise, I wrestled between doing something conventional in my room or trying a green-screen environment since I knew I had gotten a bit better. I found in 2018 I was over-relying on this style for the fun of it and it was less appealing to the masses.. but I hoped with some new knowledge I can pull it off! I hope you do like the video style, but either way I hope you all enjoy this and stick around! More pop-metal type covers coming as I find the time, and maybe some new collaborations?? Time will tell..
