After defeating Moldarach, Link enters the Temple of Time and finds Impa guarding Zelda as she sings and plays a song. Before they get the chance to socialize, Ghirahim shows up to assassinate Zelda. Impa holds him back in order to buy Zelda time to head through the gate; Zelda then throws Link the Goddess's Harp and claims that he'll be needing it soon. Impa and Zelda then head through the Gate of Time, and a pissed off Ghirahim promises revenge.

After fighting it off for a while, it begins to make Kaine hallucinate about her grandmother, but she quickly realizes it was an illusion. After defeating it, Kaine joins the party after a speech from Weiss.")
