Why fairy light leds - They are low powered can be bent and if they break are easily replaceable compared to led tape where you might need to re-solder thin wires and is 5 volt usually. Also you can mix colors on a strand I just used single color ones for each skate. Butten cells are available in rechargeable forms as well.

Besides using a reclaimed button cell battery's from old remotes. I got to say these leds look good on these cheap skates. They are only held on by tape eventually i'll glue or use 3m tape but over all held up nice and if you just want lights temporarily this works great. Just cut a strand of fairy light leds you can get them less then 1$ cut about 4 to 5 leds bend and place them on the bottom of the skate deck and tape. Then strip the end with a lighter or sand paper tape the wires to the battery and tuck it in the under the open space of the skate most cheap freeskates got a gap and jmks have a space to tuck the battery away as well if not just tape it too the deck.
