The i2p is a lot like tor its a peer to peer service but instead of .onion its a .i2p for the addresses. It also functions very different compared to tor offering some more features like letting you use any browser with a proxy set-up. It also functions more like a router on our system that everything goes though before going out. This lets you also be able to update packages through it under Linux once set up.

Text base guide open a terminal:
1. Install i2pd "sudo pacman -S i2pd" or "apt-get install i2pd"
2. Start the service. "systemctl start i2pd" this is temporary if you wanna make it permanent change start to enable. To disable it use disable or stop. You can also check the status by typing "systemctl status i2pd"
3. Go to the i2pd home ip our i2p router page. "http://127.0.0.1:7070"
4. If step 3 don't work go to your browsers proxy page set this up you will need it to access .i2p addresses and to swap from clear net to the i2p anyway. The proxy ip is "127.0.0.1" and the port is "4444"
