First, at 0:03 using A and B pedals at fret 12. You slide up to fret 14, still preassing AB down, then slide up to fret 12 and using only A pedal with F knee (raises 4 and 8 a half tone). This is commonly used by Lloyd Green.
Second, at 0:09 there's a nice sound, but it wasn't on purpose. My middle finger unintentionally picked the 4th string extra hard, and so you can hear how loud it sounded. What you need to know about this music piece is that I played a triplet (3 notes in the timing of one note). My thumb pick played string 6 on fret 5, index finger string 5 and then my middle finger played string 4. It's kind of like a racking of the strings, but it's NOT a thumb rake. I picked each string individually, but very quickly, and then last note sounded loudest, which made it sound like a timing thing. It's interesting. This wasn't intentional, so I'll have to study it more. By the way, I'm using pedals A and B here. Then just pedal A on strings 4 and 5, let off and slide down to fret 4 while using F knee.
