I'm using the F knee going from fret 12 to 14.
I then us AB pedals on fret 12, then slide up to 14 using AB pedals still, then slide up to fret 12 using only A pedal and F knee (that raises 4 a half tone). Then go back down to the 12th fret using AB pedals, pumping them, and then slide back to fret 10 while pressing only the C pedal, then quickly come back up to fret 12 and let off C pedal. It's a very common sound that Lloyd uses in his music.
At 0:08 I'm picking string 3 and raising string 1 a whole tone with a knee lever. I don't raise string 2 at all, but much rather prefer a bar slant. I like the sound and feel. I use a knee for raising string 1 for technique purposes, while doing cool stuff with string 5. Strings 1 and 5 can do a lot of great stuff together.
