however….
It does take you back a bit to have the ‘stupid American’ stereotype penetrate so deep that people first ask you if you know where their country is instead of literally anything else about yourself.
Do you know where Montana is?
How about Iowa? Kansas?
If you are an American, just make sure you brush up, not only to help us get a good name back but for your own social wellbeing
And yes, I do love school people are so freaking friendly and great but this is a thing
