This is no shade to the server because y’all were busy but we had them switched because (we think) the first barely spoke English and wasn’t able to take out order so for me, leaving a 20% (+) tip felt very odd after getting used to it being built into the price
The main thing I’m amazed at is the portions. I know I make jokes but I actually forgot how huge they were. I think THIS is reason we’ve normalized taking leftovers…
The restaurant being empty at 8:15p was just funny as a reverse culture shock but I’m still reeling over the portions… how was that a half?
