Every day, we watch the news and think, “Wait…he can’t do that!” Yet Donald Trump keeps moving the line, now even talking about calling in the National Guard as if declaring war on his own country.

This isn’t just politics anymore. This is less democracy and more The Hunger Games—with “Peacekeepers” enforcing fear, not justice. The gap between the wealthy and everyone else isn’t just wide… it’s locked in stone.

Immigration should follow law and order—but it must be legal and humane. Families living in terror. Citizens caught in sweeps. That is control, not justice.

Here at home in Evanston, we see the same pattern. Mayor Daniel Biss and his inner circle live by one rule:

“It doesn’t matter if it’s right… it’s about what it takes to win.”
