The US president has continued extending thanks to numerous leaders in the Middle East who he says helped push through the Gaza ceasefire deal.
He singled out Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as always being “there when I need him”.
“He’s as tough as can be, but we love him,” Trump said of Erdogan, hailing their “good relationship”.
Trump also thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, among others.
The leaders of Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye and the US sign document that Trump says “is going to spell out rules and regulations”.
