This is the AB Productions redub to the original French version, as originally released on the 2nd volume of the French VHS collection by AB/TF1 Video in 1990, and again on the 2nd tape of the 5-volume Une Video collection in 1998 ;)
The character of the lamp later re-appeared in the episode "Oil Wells", although this particular episode was made after.
In the UK, this was originally broadcast on December 29, 1970.

This and 14 other episodes from the original black-and white season were included as part of a 1994 VHS release by Polygram, alongside Pollux et le Chat Bleu (Dougal and the Blue Cat).
