In video 55 I interfaced a "temporary display" in the form of an HD44780 module. That interface was limited to only write to the registers and such I had no access to the busy status bit that would be necessary to drive it at high speed. In this video I extend the circuit to add that functionality. This is still just a temporary display but this makes the functionality more complete and will allow it to be more useful for some speed tests I want to run when the core cpu is complete.

In the second coding section I made a small mistake, I've edited out the short test run where I discovered that as it just didn't flow well in the edited video but if you watch very closely you can see the mistake and then the fix tagged on the end.
