This was fun. When my cpu was barely functional I wrote a text mode version of the classic game snake which I called Snek. Simple thought it was the game was a massive proof of the early capabilities of the system. Since then the system has gained many new features including vga graphics, I thought it would be fun to give the game a refresh so it stands up beside the more recent demos better.
