Yesterday, Sheriff Watson joined alongside the many members of the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, as well as law enforcement officers throughout this great county, in honor and support of the Special Olympics.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an extraordinary opportunity for police officers and deputy sheriff's throughout the State of Florida to raise awareness and funding for the Special Olympics.
Sheriff Watson had the opportunity to speak with the Olympians, where he expressed that they are what makes this event and our community so special! The Olympians are the heroes amongst this crowd!
