August was an oof month this year.

So like I've been having to do my observation hours for physical therapy, so work 11 to 9-10 on Tuesday, then I have to be at the clinic at 7AM on Wednesday until 3PM, and then work 4 to 9-10. Then usually I'm up at 9AM on Thursday for work. I didn't even get the full 40 hours I need yet, I'm currently stuck at 36 hours and my stress is very much rn

So the month started with that, and then I went to stay at my brother's for Gen Con this year, which was the 3rd-6th. Gen Con itself was really fun! My brother and I spent the first-day doing cardhalla, and let me tell you, Indianapolis is going downhill when it comes to people. There was this guy who wandered in and he like... started straightening up some straws and napkins, and he was talking to himself. He pulled out this chair and put three of them around a table, set down his stuff, then pulled out all of these papers and spread them over two tables. There were only three of us there (my brother and I plus another guy we were talking to for a while), and it was very asdkjfh. Then this guy was talking about a bomb and people dying, I'm like... He pulled this pair of pants out of his bag and looked right at my brother and was like, "These are new, you can see the tag," ect. He talked to himself more, then he finally left but he left the pants. It was hnn. I don't know what was up with him, but I kind of wanted to go after him and give him his pants? But also he was talking about bombs and stuff so also no. We almost called the police while he was there.

Anyway. I spent way too much money at the exhibit hall and artist stuff the next day. I got these four absolutely beautiful Avatar 11x14 prints, and the lady was super nice. I'm basically the most indecisive person, and I was trying to decide between three originally, plus a cat one, and it was buy three get a fourth random print for free. So I got three and she was like, "Don't tell, but I was going to give you the other as long as you got three." Then I went back the next day for the fourth because I couldn't just do three of the four. X'D

I was also at one booth and got a few things including a pair of earrings and a Spider-Man fidget spinner, and I had the earrings in the lid when I handed it to the guy. He passed it to the other guy to get a bag, and they forgot to put the fidget spinner in the bag. I was very very stressed because my brother was like, "I would just put it out and sell it if I were them." So I got there right at 10AM the next morning hoping they would remember me AND still have it. They did. I was very very glad, and they were apologetic and glad I noticed and went back. XD
There were also two places that sold loose-leaf tea, so I bought my brother some as a birthday present. I didn't think I would go there and buy tea lol

After Gen Con we went out to eat on Sunday for my brother's birthday, and I had to work on my physics homework that was due Monday night. Since we were closing on the new house on August 31st, we have to get rid of books and basically all of my free time was either homework or taking books to half price.

My brother and I finally saw Barbie and Oppenheimer in theaters, then we got taco bell and donuts for dinner. XD Ken's song was the best song in Barbie the movie.
After that I had a physics exam, and my last seven answers weren't recorded when the exam timed out, even though they were typed in. So that was a whole thing with emailing my teacher. Then she said she wished I hadn't looked at the answers at all, so I had to screenshot the time I took the pictures and stuff (12:01AM), and I had emailed her at 12:07AM because that's how long it took me to type it up and refresh the page like 15 more times in hopes it would fix itself. Thankfully she did input the points for the questions I had correct, which was all of them.

The next week on Friday I had my final exam, which I did absolutely awful on, but it was okay. I got a B in the class, and it's over. Then on Monday my Lifespan Development class started! It's going okay so far, but I had to ask for an extension because the first assignment was due on Wednesday the 23rd... which is the day I had foot surgery. I had bunion surgery for my right foot this time, so I'm out of work for at least six weeks. We're also moving, and I have class, and I still need PT observation hours, so life has been stressful. It's been great for my hobbies though! But I don't want to move. so. yup. That was August.

I'm mostly happy with my parts at least! Most of them are from the past week or so. Plus LadyNoir July is here because I forgot it last month.
