This is an old vent I made back in January and never uploaded.
I made this with Spiderverse and was like eh...
But I'd made one with this song like two years earlier with Violet Evergarden, so I thought it would be cool to overlap them lol
I'm going to be uploading a compilation of unfinished MEP parts and edits in a few days probably, so the spiderverse one will be in that. I figured I should upload one by itself and only one in the collection though, and I like this better than just spiderverse. XD

OKAY so like, I know I said my next MEP was going to be happy... I downloaded the song and everything... BUT HOW COULD I NOT HOST A MEP WITH THIS SONG?!?!?!? XD
I was going to wait to upload the sign-up until I at least have Worthless uploaded, if not Battle Scars too, but I want the deadline to be in November after all of the Halloween MEPs and before Christmas, so Im uploading it now. XD

and I immediately thought of Eri. I dont know if I want to edit a full video by myself, and I was really REALLY tempted to make this an Overhaul arc/Eri MEP, but I decided to just host this as a normal MEP with basically the theme children who are in trouble and need rescued/are rescued so like Eri, Kouta, some kiddos from Naruto probably, ect
So here I am... with this. XD

If you use bad quality footage, I WILL ask you to re-do your part. If you cant find it in a good quality, dont use it (ask me if you need help finding something though). If you cant redo your part, then Ill have to replace you. :/

-Raw/vfx editing!!! Use any effects or overlays you want, just follow the flow of the song and dont make it too effect heavy, but more emotional

Hello!
Today (in my timezone still, not quite late XD) is European Day of Languages.
Neimi organized a project for it! I really wanted to join, but wasnt sure if Id be able to...
I ended up editing this in the car when I didnt have internet, so couldnt download audio to work on MEP parts! XD
I also decided to just go with English. Technicallyyyy the rule was can be any language that youre connected to in one way or another, but for some reason my brain went a language you speak. I have since realized I could edit with a language that people Im close to speak though instead... so maybe next year.
Also this song is English, but Astrid S is actually a Norwegian singer! I just chose a song I had downloaded already, so I did not know that while editing. XD
About the edit. I know I downloaded this song for something specific, but couldnt remember WHAT. So I just decided Id edit some Violet Evergarden. It doesnt really fit Violet and Gilbert, so next couple I could think of was these two! Its really her trying to tell herself that its okay that he doesnt care for her the same way, and she vents to Violet for a bit. Then I threw in a Violet and Gilbert comparison at the end because I needed the extra angst.
Anyway, happy EDL day! (^o^)/
