So it may be an unpopular opinion, I'm not entirely sure but this second season arc for Laurel was incredible for me. I honestly felt like it had developed her in such a way that highlighted the fact that its okay to be weak, and to be knocked down as long as you don't let it completely defeat you and do everything in your power, on your own terms, to rise above it all. She's an incredibly human, and relatable character, and I think watching her battle addiction, watching her struggle to deal with the loss of a loved one, and essentially watching her whole world fall apart around her has really paved the way for her to become a really powerful figure among Team Arrow, and hopefully, eventually a hero in her own right as The Black Canary. What's so fascinating to me is that there's such depth, and many layers to this character that's basically set up from the pilot, and then they go ahead with this second season and manage to put her through more hell. I mean, it really opened the doors for us to see what Laurel and Oliver were like in the past, to see Sara come back into the story, and to have these mixed emotions play out again, I mean should she be angry that Oliver cheated on her? Should she be sad and grieve his death? She loved him. As for Sara, is she glad she's back when she ran off with her boyfriend? Does she miss her? Can she forgive her? Is she still angry at her? Its complicated as fuck, and I just love that these past two seasons have really honed in on that, and Katie Cassidy does such a great job with this character and I could not say enough nice things about her, and Laurel Lance.

As for this particular video, I thought the idea of her world crumbling, having these people in her life who should trust her and love her sort of pull away from her when she needs them the most while labelling her as "unsteady" as the song is called, would kind of be a nice tribute to the character, at least for this season. I mean, you start it off with her losing someone she loved, and then its just downhill from there, from her relationship to her mother, her sister, Oliver, etc. So much happens in the second season and I felt like this song allowed for me to use some of the more milestone moments to make a video out of, which is what happened here. Anyway, enough of me ranting. I hope you enjoy it if you're a Laurel Lance fan. I'm still trying to get into the hang of vidding Arrow, hopefully I'll be able to vid it as much as Smallville, and have more knowledge of scenes, and episodes to have more diversity in the videos.
