I think that quote is the very core of Laurel Lance's journey to becoming The Black Canary. Not everyone endures five years on an island specifically, but five years on an island does not a superhero make. Everything Laurel has gone through is what has built the platform for her to rise as The Black Canary, and I'm ridiculously excited to see that happen in the back half of Season Three.

I wish I could manage to write this amazing description detailing why I love the show so much, and break down the great things I loved about every character in this fantastic cast, but I am so tired and about to pass out that I need to head off to bed and get some well needed sleep. You all know how much I love this show, and which particular characters or relationships I love most I hope this video reminds you of your favourite characters/relationships, and what you loved most about the show. The lyrics decided what characters would be focused on in whatever capacity - I hope its evened out as much as possible - but overall, I hope you guys enjoy it!
