Last year I told myself that I wasn't going to vote for anyone on The X Factor and would just let it run its course and see who wins. That was before Reigan Derry auditioned. She was on one of the latter audition episodes, and I remember thinking "this is good, I don't have any favourites, the audition rounds are almost done and that's when they introduce the big contenders who make it to the live shows." She stepped on with a guitar and done a rendition of "Someone Like You" and then it hit me that I was invested. Her cover of "Numb" at bootcamp confirmed it; so much that when it came to Home Visits, and Red Foo literally had six performers who could have made it to the live shows, I was on the edge of my seat watching the verdict with hopes that she'd get through. After she did, she had performance after performance with standing ovations, and comments like "that's the best performance I've seen on any X Factor in the world", and "if you're not here till the end there's something seriously wrong." I still hadn't voted yet and thought- you know- 'this is great; my favourite is so loved by the judges and the viewers and I think she could win.' Then they announced they were doing ranks for one time only and she was announced as coming third. Third?! Seriously?! I was shitting it. So I decided to start voting. Each week I was upping my votes, and I was saving money to make sure I'd have enough for the grand final to get her locked in as the winner. Sadly, she finished fourth in what was THE most shocking elimination on X Factor history. She trended for days after it happened, and it was tough watching a grand final without its true winner. Now we're all itching for her to get signed by sony, and so until news breaks whether or not she's got a deal, or she hasn't, I wanted to make something to sum up her journey, and to also tell you all to watch this space: she is by far the best X Factor contestant to grace the stage and I can't wait for an album.

I wish I could manage to write this amazing description detailing why I love the show so much, and break down the great things I loved about every character in this fantastic cast, but I am so tired and about to pass out that I need to head off to bed and get some well needed sleep. You all know how much I love this show, and which particular characters or relationships I love most I hope this video reminds you of your favourite characters/relationships, and what you loved most about the show. The lyrics decided what characters would be focused on in whatever capacity - I hope its evened out as much as possible - but overall, I hope you guys enjoy it!
