On September 17, 1993, a tour of Launch Complex 13 was given to Lt. Gen. Otto Glasser, who had directed the development in the 1950s of the Atlas intercontinental ballistic missile for the U.S. Air Force. LC-13 was one of the Atlas ICBM test launch sites.

At the time of this film, the pad's service tower gantry was still in place.
