G'day everyone,

Even I can admit that this one is a bit crazy, but I think this set up will work. I need to use the lathe and the vertical milling attachment that I made previously to do some drilling on the milling machines spindle. This will involve holding the spindle in the lathe, holding it steady and indexing it.

I thought about several solutions including a new spindle lock and indexing ring but I think, for a one-off project it was much easier to bolt the dividing head to the lathe. All it needs to do is hold the part steady and do basic indexing, this is not intended to be used under power.

All I have to do is find a way to bring the dividing head up to the spindles centerline, find a way to center it and bolt it down.
