AlboPepper - Drought Proof Urban Gardening | Late Spring Frost? What to do if you see a FROST WARNING @Albopepper | Uploaded June 2015 | Updated October 2024, 11 hours ago.
During the day today, it was only 59° F. Yesterday it was 82° F. Extreme temperature swings seem to be more and more common. With erratic weather patterns, a gardener really has to stay on top of things.
This video shows a nice site that you can reference to identify your average last frost dates. But I also show you my favorite site for keeping an eye on the upcoming weather. And no, I'm NOT talking about weather.com or even weather kitty, lol.
I also share lots of ideas for temporarily covering your hot weather vegetable plants to protect them from frost damage. Several items used in the video are listed below in case you want to pick them up from your local Lowes.
