Last Story Is One of the Wii’s Hidden Gems
Released on the Wii in 2011, it was directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, with music by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu. Together, they delivered an ambitious RPG featuring memorable characters, an emotional story, and a unique real-time combat system that still feels fresh today.
Despite the incredible talent behind it, The Last Story never received the attention it deserved.
