In this video we are camping outside Lassen National Park in the Lassen National Forest. This video is all about exploring Lassen National Park, and Lassen National forest.
Our video starts off with a mellow hike in Lassen Volcanic National Park around Manzanita Lake. This hike is a great family friendly hike in Lassen National Park and its about 1.7 miles. The follwowing day we go deeper into Lassen National Park and explore Bumpass Hell via Cold Boiling Lake. Bumpass Hell Trail is a great 5 miles hike because we decided to take the senic route and skip the crowds. After we drive over to Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center, they have a great cafe, and there are a lot of interactive displays for all ages. Anothe a great stop is Lake Helen, its located in the heart of Lassen National Park. We stop and enjoy the calm, clear lake.
Over the coure of the week we also visit Burney falls thats in Lassen National Forest, this waterfall has a short hike and you need to add it to your list. Last but defintaly not least is Subway Cave, its just 10 minutes from our camp inside Lassen National forest and worth the stop. We hope you enjoy the video.
