In this video, we are exploring The Dungeness Spit and whale watching in Port Townsend. Although we do not make it out to the new Dungeness Lighthouse we can see it from the distance.
RV life takes us to Washington's Puget Sound, where we take advantage of the Dungeness Recreation area for some peaceful camping. RVing at the Dungeness Recreation area also allows us to have easy access to the Dungeness Spit, which is a long sand Jedi that extends out to Puget Sound. This area is one of the many places to explore on the Washingtons Olympic Peninsula. The following day makes the quick drive over to Port Townsend where we have booked a whale-watching trip with Puget Sound express. While up in the Puget sound its very likely that we will see gray whales, humpback whales, and possibly orca whales on this whale-watching tour.
