The Land Rover Defender is perhaps the most iconic vehicle to ever come out of the UK. It’s pioneering off-road capabilities, unmistakable boxy dimensions and rugged attitude have made it a go-to choice for so many people over the last 65 years.
Launched in 1948, the Defender was initially developed as a British-built utility vehicle that was favoured by international military for its reliability and capability in the most adverse of conditions. As time moved on the Defender’s fame grew in other areas and brought a new appeal to many people who would be looking to use this type of car for every occasion. As a result came more luxury, more refinement and more attention.
What’s on offer here however is a phenomenal, custom-built Land Rover Defender 110 XS Pickup, that’s undergone some incredible work to get it to where it is now. It’s a 2008 (58) model that’s covered just 35,700 miles from new and has just two owners on the logbook.
Finished in a Nardo Grey wrap with a Black Roof the car gets a Black grille, upgraded head lights, Side Steps, Land Rover mudflaps, Black Wing Mirrors and Black Sports Bars too. There’s a set of additional LED daytime running lights in the front bumper, Privacy Glass and all-terrain tyres around Gloss Black Sawtooth Alloy wheels.
Inside, the has been reworked to include recovered & restitched Black Leather wingback front seats, an upgraded Sony infotainment system that’s home to Apple CarPlay & Android Audio. The interior is pulled together by contrasting white stitching in the front too. There’s also an aftermarket three spoke steering wheel.
