Launched in the summer of 2018 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Ariel Atom 4 is one of the newest variants in a long line of pulse-raising machines that are born out of the Somerset-based manufacturer. It’s ergonomic, lightweight and has been engineered in such a way to ensure maximum performance and minimum weight. In the words of Evo Magazine, “Intense doesn’t even begin to explain it.” Jeremy Clarkson said he had “never, ever driven anything so fast” and we can believe that.
The Atom 4 builds on the success of the high-performance road and track car and comes equipped with a 2.0L Turbocharged Honda Type R engine that gets a 3-stage boost control unit. 0-62mph takes just 2.5 seconds when equipped like this one is, with the 350bhp upgrade. It is monumentally exciting and there really is nothing that drives like it. Its serious fun, and seriously cool! Track or traffic, the Atom 4 is always ready.
Our 2021 (21) example comes equipped with an amazing specification that includes almost every possible optional extra fitted to the car, Red paintwork and huge amounts of Carbon Fibre! It’s covered 5,200 miles from new.
Key optional highlights include the Carbon Fibre Front & Rear Aerofoils, Limited Slip Differential, AP Racing 4 Pot Brakes, Ohlins TTX 3 Way Adjustable dampers & Forged Alloy Wheels. It is an enormous specification example, and we believe you’d struggle to find one of similar stature in today’s market.
