Laminar flows are not very impressive to watch (except for the syrup-food coloring physics demos!), so here are some photos of ice with trails of sediment that demonstrate that the flow is laminar. I also include an image of a melting glacier, and show how you can see the mixing in melt water that demonstrates the (liquid) water flow is turbulent.
