Mutations in a genetic code can form in a number of ways. In this video, I "reproduce" a short genetic code several times and induce some mutations.

(Then my program crashed, so I describe how to take the last set of 8 organisms and reconstruct how they are related in a second video...which introduces phylogeny.)
