When the Aswan High Dam was completed, Nubian villages, fields, and date palms disappeared beneath the rising waters. Entire communities were displaced, their culture severed from the Nile that sustained it for centuries.
This documentary follows fishermen navigating a fragile economy and Nubian families trying to preserve memory, music, and identity along an artificial shore.
