Your LAFD is proud to announce the graduation of 18 firefighters who have elevated their level of training from EMT to Paramedic, increasing their ability to serve the people of Los Angeles. The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care Paramedic Program conducted a graduation ceremony on April 19, 2024, where 47 men and women achieved this next level of prehospital care certification and the ability to better serve the medical emergencies of the community.
