One of the more infamous boss battles in the game, this particular version of Tenshi has huge defenses, no weaknesses, four resistances, heavy resistance to poison, and if you try to counteract it by buffing up she will use Sword of Hisou on any character with more than 100% total buff to attempt to clear them, but it often fails because it would just wipe the target's face off the planet instead, so it's a huge chore to deal any sort of damage to her. What she is vulnerable to, however, are HVY, SIL and DEF/MND debuffs, which can be combined to drop her defenses to much more manageable levels, though even then it's difficult to punch damage through due to Sword of Hisou discouraging buffs.
There are two characters who can easily counter this fight - Hina's debuff conversion gimmick doesn't trigger Sword of Hisou, so she can easily keep herself "buffed" while debuffing Tenshi's defenses and if you're lucky, attack as well, so she can easily deal damage through Tenshi's defenses. The other one is Iku, whose normal attack can be empowered with her own skill and Sorceror to deal fairly good amount of damage (despite the resistance) with next to no cost, and Sorceror's automatic self buffs will only buff MAG and thus is unlikely to go high enough to trigger Tenshi's wrath by itself. Without either of those in the team, it would be a lot more difficult to play with Tenshi on her own terms, but there is still a way - Sword of Hisou will always target the leftmost character with more than 100% buffs, so if you can keep a character on the left with enough SPI affinity to survive it repeatedly and buffed enough, Tenshi will always use Sword of Hisou on them and will mostly ignore the rest of your team, so you can safely buff them up and deal damage that way. All in all, though, even with a good firing solution to get past her defenses, it's going to be a long fight plinking through with the limited damage you can deal.
Oh yeah and there's a second fight afterwards with Tenshi again, with mostly the same patterns only she is now level 80 with stats to boost. To be honest, I'm not sure how to defeat her on Hard Mode at all (without severe grinding), much less with whatever characters I have, especially on NG+ where you don't get a free level 50 something Eiki to at least plink at her a little. Youmu with 3 Intamas drawing all the Sword of Hisou is probably mandatory, but even then she's gonna be taking like 1.7k damage even with Reimu on the front. On normal mode you can dump a lot of library levels in Youmu's HP so she can reliably tank two hits, at least.

![Labyrinth of Touhou 2 Steam - vs Diamond Knight
Im not gonna make a video of every single [character]s Shadow - Abyss fights because they generally arent that interesting and except for the first few, Ill be steamrollering through most of them with level advantage to keep up long streaks. I will make videos for the unique bosses in Infinity Corridor, though.
Diamond Knight is the first unique boss in IC and shows up at 30F. It has a few physical attacks to throw around but except for the first turn, most of the time it just opts to toss a Scourge for overkill damage. If it has a debuff itll do an auto ATK buff as well; this doesnt take up a turn but DOES count as a turn so if it uses that on turn 1 it will probably throw a scourge right afterwards, at which point you mostly dont care about the ATK buff any more because its not going to make Scourge kill its target any deader. So I just tossed a SPD debuff at it and went on a damage race; it has really high defenses but low HP and vulnerable to SIL/HVY, and is weak to NTR or MYS, so a universally usable way to deal with this thing is to inflict HVY and use Iron Mountain Charge on it. Since I have Alice with her 40% defense ignore though, tossing SIL and using Hourai Doll seemed much more effective.
