Twenty-nine undocumented foreign nationals have been arrested during a multi-department operation in Pietermaritzburg.
KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli, in his capacity as the executive authority for the Community Safety and Liaison Department, says the arrests were made during inspections at residential properties and businesses across the city.
The operation involved SAPS, Home Affairs, Labour and other government departments, officials — also uncovered expired food, poor hygiene and alleged labour law.
