Broken souls, scarred faces, troubling past… there’s a pattern.
I know most of you don’t watch any Korean dramas, but the first kdrama that I’ve watched was Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. I loved it a lot, and that was the first encounter of my new obsession of Korean dramas haha. But I remember rewatching it and immediately thinking of Kylo Ren. And now watching ATLA, and being introduced to Zuko’s character, these three characters are very similar.
I know that Kylo didn’t have a family that were trying to raise him to be evil, or abused him in such a way. Snoke had abused him and manipulated him, not his family. He’s seeking approval from Snoke, like a son would to a father. Snoke has become a father figure to Kylo. It’s pretty sick to think of it like that, but it’s true.
And besides that, all these couples greatly encompass the yin and yang, Hae Soo and Wang So / Rey and Kylo Ren / Katara and Zuko.

I've also been trying so so hard to get a reylo edit out there! I hope I finish one soon!!
