also, I know I've used this song before, but I couldn't resist.
I binged the 3rd season of umbrella academy and had a quick inspiration strike. This is the product of that inspiration strike.
Even though what Five said was pretty harsh toward Viktor, it did need to be said though. There have been instances where Five had been patient and lenient with Viktor. Five would let him make a choice. It happened in season 2, where Five let Viktor say goodbye to Sissy and Harlan, but only if he makes it to the alley on time. He didn't. And now with Viktor trying to protect Harlan, which he believed was the right thing to do again, it backfires. And this scene with them two in season 3 was kind of where Five's patience wore thin. So I get it, but damn, right after that confrontation with Allison and Viktor. Whew. 💀 I still understand though. Viktor kept vital information away from his family. And it ticked Five off.
Seems like this conversation is foreshadowing something. I wonder if, at some point in season 4, Five will have to face that decision, of killing Viktor. Because it almost feels like what Five is asking of Viktor, goes against Viktor's core values. Maybe Viktor can't bear to not save certain people in the next season, and we'll have to see if Five was bluffing or not when he said he'd kill him. I hope not, though :'))
