Kuzco Coronado 60" smart ceiling fan in matte black. This fan was featured in my most-recent Product Spotlight, so be sure to check out that video if you haven't already. This fan is a very impressive early showing from Kuzco. Great quality and design as I'd expect to see, but the performance is also really standout. You'll notice a very strong "clunk" upon startup. The torque behind this motor is really pretty bonkers; it's up there in the favorites group with Casablanca/Hunter's super torquey DC motor. Super impressed with several elements; from the motor to the mounting hardware, there's a lot of really excellent and "smart" features to this fan beyond just the concept of the wifi capabilities. A lot of these details seem to extend to the overall new launch of smart fan products, which only amplifies my excitement for the direction Kuzco is heading in. I had a great little convo with them at January Lightovation where they took down some of my input, and I'm eager to see if anything amazing develops from that in the upcoming design cycles. Hoping this is just the beginning of great things with Kuzco!
