As a linux user for almost a quarter century, its a rare occasion that I require a new laptop, but that time came this month. Theres always some sort of peril when installing Linux on the latest hardware. This laptop proved to be no exception, though it was not a severe issue. The laptop an HP 15-dy2033nr was a special at BJ's that would never boot to windows 11, going right to Kubuntu 21.10
After a quick diagnostic check the install gets underway, this being the install having solved for the problems with compatibility of the wireless card addressed in the video.
The result is a solid OS running without issue.
