KOVR ended their analog signal during their 5PM newscast. They are owned by CBS but were an ABC affiliate until 1995. They were the area's first TV station to start broadcasting in stereo in 1985.

The news at this time was produced in HD and had blue side bars for 4x3 standard-def content- the analog channel showed this center-cut and you can see traces of the blue side bars at times.
