Koto music + techno/rock! We pulled out all the stops in making this feel like an epic Japanese music battle. Almost everything you hear from the string plucking to knuckle/wood percussion is koto with the exception of obvious additions like the flute, kick drum, and bass guitar that come later as the song progresses. This will be ear candy to those who have really good earphones/headphones - tons of detail and lots of frills, scratches, sub-melodies the more closely you listen. The sound is a bit unique - closest thing would be if you took techno/psytrance and merged it with something like East Wind / Uttara-Kuru or Band Maiko - but we go a bit crazier with the koto. :P Enjoy and happy new year!

Hey. Im feelin better, so here is a jam. I dont really know how to compartmentalize this track. Its inspired by 80s pop jams, but its also kind of 00s breakbeats and video game nostalgia. But it was fun to make! I really feel like Im connecting with my old self in terms of composition lately. I even used the good old orchestral flute in this one that accompanied most of my tracks back in the 00s. This is one of those tracks I might come back to do a different take on one day... anyway, enjoy this incredibly season-deaf jam! Happy spooks month ~

Im back with some more strange grooves! This is just one of those music tracks where I had fun and did whatever I wanted, and the result is pretty interesting. Some oldschool early 00s + funk inspiration here too for sure.
I originally made the baseline breaks in this track for the animation Allisk8r as a short frill. But I could not leave it at that, and decided to make a full track out of it!

New funky fresh breaks in my old style. This track took a very long time to get right. Although it has a very familiar style if you are familiar with my music, it is packed with variation and details I hope will count for something. I had a vague idea of visuals and wanted to do something a lot more animated for my (probably) last track of the year, so I ended up contacting Makoyana to do the artwork, She did an amazing job! Later I animated it and did some additional graphic work over a few days.
