How Not to Collab on a Music Track - Making of Koto Breaker in FL Studio Autodidactic Studios 2022-01-02 | The most Frankenstein music collab ever. Long-story short the Koto Breaker track started as Waterflame sampling an MP3 version of pftq's song in FL Studio, which pftq then used the WAV file of to build on without knowing the tempo, which Waterflame then used the WAV of, etc. Add one year of hiatus, pftq finding out his soundcard had everything panned right from a defect, Waterflame finding out FL Limiter has been reducing the stereo-width of all his exports, and you have this mess. Lunar Trigger Red - Piano Techno Autodidactic Studios 2023-10-14 | Second version of Lunar Trigger & cousin to Lunar Fractals. Meant again by pftq as a collab stem for Waterflame to add to but didn't end up happening before the song got finished. Maybe 3rd time's the charm! Waterflame did share some synths/samples this time that were used by Zero-Bass though, so that helped get the sound a little bit closer to the inspiration.
