I'm back with some more strange grooves! This is just one of those music tracks where I had fun and did whatever I wanted, and the result is pretty interesting. Some oldschool early 00s + funk inspiration here too for sure.
I originally made the baseline breaks in this track for the animation "Allisk8r" as a short frill. But I could not leave it at that, and decided to make a full track out of it!

So I have been tinkering with this track on and off, as is the case with most of my tracks these days. This turned into a giant experiment with distortion and voice usage, using some Korean rap samples, and I got transported into this odd zone you hear here. Give it some time to grow on you!

I have been working on this for so long, and it is probably my most ambitious track this year. I put all the things I have learned to the test. Its been a really stressful year for me, but I made it through! And I guess this track is a thematically fitting representation of that.

New funky fresh breaks in my old style. This track took a very long time to get right. Although it has a very familiar style if you are familiar with my music, it is packed with variation and details I hope will count for something. I had a vague idea of visuals and wanted to do something a lot more animated for my (probably) last track of the year, so I ended up contacting Makoyana to do the artwork, She did an amazing job! Later I animated it and did some additional graphic work over a few days.
