It is complete, at last!
After weeks of working on this track + animation, and several render attempts, I finally consider this animation to be complete.
Megalopolis, The next installment in the Welkin universe.
With full animation and pixel art by yours truly. Took me forever to finish, but Im really happy with how it turned out :D
Now, I know this is the first time there has been any orchestral instruments in this series, but the vibe still makes sense to me, even though I tried many different variants, this is what captured the vibe I was going for the most. This is the title theme for welkin, so the melodies are very similar to the theme, as a lot of the tracks are. (But dont worry, you will hear more tracks in the universe that does not borrow from the theme soon enough!)
The youtube version is probably going to have about -4 DB capped of the top of the track, but the way it was mixed, lets just say it has to be this way or Im going to have to remaster a lot of it. lol.

This music is a spiritual successor to my old track Radioactive Built from the same concept, but it turned into a completely different thing in the end(apart from the stabbing synth vaguely resembling the original climax pattern.)
I spent so long with this, I deconstructed it and rebuilt it like 3 times, trying to get a better understanding of stereo-space. And pushing the detail on the video a bit longer this time as well.
This is more in the ways of the old when it comes to composition style, taking a lot from my style 8 years ago where I would mostly stick to 1-2 patterns of bass but elaborate on top of it with arpeggios and chords. Id like to think Im much better at it now.
This has since been featured in games like Roblox / Epic Minigames.
