If this was helpful or just enjoyable, and you want to help this little channel to do more of this and further more, it really makes a difference : ko-fi.com/stunty
Last year, Lena Filatova released her very first album on vinyl, after over a decade of cassettes, collaborations and other curiosities.
A wonderful collection of hypnagogic, lush and whimsical songs from the post industrial soviet folklore, like a slavic cousin of Pram, or the most esoteric of Broadcast and Piano Magic. "I Pni" took many of us by surprise, and her label - Aguirre - certainly did not anticipate the how many global music lovers would be taken by this, as it's now been fetching outrageous amounts of money, for such a seemingly modest little release.
Months after discovering it, the magic has not faded one bit, and I thought it would be cool and interesting to chat with the woman behind Kot Kot, so here it is, a very special artist in conversation.
