Knee prehab in under 30 seconds 👇
If you want healthier, stronger knees, focus on these 3 fundamentals:
1️⃣ Ankle dorsiflexion (mobility)
2️⃣ Isolated quad strength (strength)
3️⃣ Anterior knee compression tolerance (capacity)
Your knee sits between two highly mobile joints — the hips and ankles. When ankle dorsiflexion is limited, the knee often pays the price with extra stress in loaded positions.
Stiffness through the anterior fascial chain + low compressive tolerance = more pressure (and pain) at the patellofemoral joint.
And yes… isolated quad work matters. It’s the only way to truly target the quads without the hip extensors or plantarflexors helping out like they do in compound lifts.
How to train it:
🦵 Mobility: Hold stretches for 30–45 seconds. Start static → progress to dynamic.
🦵 Strength: Slow, controlled reps. Don’t overload. Gradually increase weight or time under tension as your knee adapts.
Stronger quads + better mobility = happier knees.
Happy prehabbing!
