Welcome to episode 14 of Kingdom Hearts Easter Eggs & Hidden Details.
Today we are creating a small mini series of shorts looking at all the hidden details and references to the Princesses of Heart. Today we are starting off right at the beginning of the game, in the tutorial area known collectively as; Dive to the Heart.
Now there are 5 glass panels in this area, however we don't really get a good look at them in-game, so I have posted them up on screen instead. 4 of the 5 panels depict Disney Princesses; Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Belle, who we later find out are all Princesses of Heart.
Upon closer inspection we can see that all 4 princesses are asleep, which I believe indicates that they have all been captured by the villains of Kingdom Hearts. However 2 of these panels, the Snow White & Beauty and the Beast panels, have characters from their respective worlds in the background. In the Belle panel all other characters are asleep as well, indicating the destruction of their home world. The only character not asleep is Beast, which makes sense considering we later find out he survived the destruction of his home world and joins the party in Hollow Bastion.
