Welcome to episode 15 of my series of shorts that I am doing on YouTube, Kingdom Hearts Obscure Items & Hidden Chests. In this series I aim to compile all the collectibles which are not very well known, very hard to obtain or well hidden.
Today we have in my opinion the most obscure item in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix so far... considering I only just learned about this item a few days ago after a lifetime of playing this game! I would be shocked if most of you knew about this one!
So from Hollow Bastion's Castle Chapel (the area where we fought Maleficent), exit to the Lift Stop and then go outside to the High Tower. Now out here are two large square pillars that we had to elevate when we first arrived in Hollow Bastion in order to progress the story, so most likely at least one will still be elevated (which is what we need to access this item). If neither are elevated then you will need to examine the red crystals around this area to change it.
We can actually glide underneath these pillars and gain access to a hidden section of the Lift Stop and inside is a chest on top of a floating platform. Cast Gravity magic on it to lower the platform and open up the chest to obtain the Royal Crown accessory.
